Coach Khabib Nurmagomedov remains undefeated; goes 4-0 up!
Khabib Nurmagomedov might have retired from the sport of mixed martial arts, and now he has been making a name for himself as a coach. The Dagestani who retired with a perfect record of 29-0, is now 4-0 in his coaching career, with all his wins coming in the year 2021.
Ariel Helwani of ESPN MMA, was quick to acknowledge the fact that Khabib is still undefeated as a coach after his cousin Usman Nurmagomedov beat Mike Hamel at the recently concluded Bellator 255.
Will Khabib ever taste defeat?
Helwani tweeted, “Usman Nurmagomedov wins his Bellator debut via UD. Coach Khabib remains undefeated in 2021.”
The UFC lightweight GOAT made his coaching debut as he trained his cousin Umar Nurmagomedov when he took on Sergey Morozov at a UFC Fight Night event in January, earlier this year. Umar won via. second-round submission. Then it was Islam Makachev vs Drew Dober at UFC 259, as Makachev won via submission in the third round.
At UFC 260, Abubakar Nurmagomedov took on Jared Gooden and won via. unanimous decision. And more recently, Usman Nurmagomedov beat Mike Hamel at Bellator 255. Looks like Khabib is omnipotent. Will we ever see Khabib Nurmagomedov taking an L?
