‘Khamzat says let me fight multiple guys in one night or let me fight every weekend but then pulls out of a fight with a jammed finger’ – Dillon Danis takes a swipe at Khamzat Chimaev

Conor McGregor’s sparring partner and Bellator fighter Dillon Danis took a swipe at Khamzat Chimaev for pulling out of the fight against Leon Edwards. Khamzat Chimaev vs Leon Edwards was initially scheduled on the 19th of December, 2020, but it was scrapped due to Leon Edwards suffering from COVID-19. The fight was rescheduled on the 20th of January, 2021, only to be scrapped again, with very little chances of it being re-booked. This time it was Khamzat, who pulled out of the fight.
In the wake of this, Dillon Danis took to Twitter, taking a dig at Khamzat for pulling out of the fight. He claimed that it was amusing to see a fighter who called out multiple fighters in one night, pull out of a fight due to a ‘jammed finger’.
Will Dillon and Khamzat ever cross paths?
“Khamzat says let me fight multiple guys in one night or let me fight every weekend but then pulls out of a fight with a jammed finger,” Dillon Danis tweeted.
Dillon Danis is currently unbeaten in his two fights in Bellator, and it has been a while since he fought. No doubt, his grappling abilities are elite, but of late, he has been feuding with YouTuber-cum-Boxer Jake Paul, over a fight that doesn’t seem like it will ever happen.
Khamzat Chimaev, on the other hand – it is currently unclear as to what his next move will be. He will have to wait until he finds a new opponent, since it was he who pulled out from the fight.
Do you think Khamzat Chimaev and Dillon Danis will ever cross paths?
