KKR players reached UAE last weekend

IPL 2020 is almost there and all the franchises have now reached UAE. All the teams and are now spending time in quarantine in the hotels. Kolkata Knight Riders also gave a sneak peeks in the players’ schedule during their hotel stays. This came after Suresh Raina and Shane Watson of CSK came up with their sneak peeks.

KKR players Sunil Narine and Andre Russell are currently busy with CPL and will reach UAE only after finishing the league. Rest of the players like Eoin Morgan, Pat Cummins and many more English or Australian players will join late after finishing their bilateral series.

Furthermore, players like Tom Banton and Chris Green will be reaching the designated hotel in some time as the days go by.

Other team & players find ways to kill time

 At the moment, all franchises have reached Dubai and are in self-isolation in hotel premises. All the teams have to undergo several COVID-19 tests before they kick off training in full-flow.

Ahead of IPL 2020, the 33-year-old left-hander, Raina shared a glimpse of his hotel view on the social media platform (Twitter).

The three-time IPL champions (CSK) are currently in hotel premises. All players, support staff and the entire team management will stay in quarantine for seven days. They will also undergo several tests before resuming training. Ahead of their arrival in Dubai, CSK team indulged in a few practice and gym sessions in their hometown, Chennai.

The likes of Mumbai Indians, CSK, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, etc. landed in Dubai by Friday (August 21). The Shreyas Iyer led, Delhi Capitals were the last of the franchises to arrive in Dubai on Sunday (August 23).

The preparations are in full swing for IPL 13’s commencement. Everything is falling into the right place, after a long delay due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The BCCI is yet to announce the entire schedule of this year’s IPL edition. The opening fixture is expected to be between MI and CSK, which was the first clash as per the original schedule.
