Daria Kasatkina, who has made it to three finals this year, is seeking her second title of the season at the Korea Open. The Russian struggled during the North American hard court swing, winning only two matches in four tournaments. However, she arrives in Seoul as the No. 1 seed and favorite to win the title.
Emma Raducanu has put in good performances in her two opening matches at the Korea Open. After a disappointing US Open outing, where she made a first-round exit, she has been desperate to bounce back. The Brit will be hoping to continue with her form when she meets Kasatkina in the quarterfinals.

Daria Kasatkina vs. Emma Raducanu: Match Preview
Daria Kasatkina began the year relatively well, reaching the final in Abu Dhabi and losing to Elena Rybakina in straight sets. She got to her second final at the Charleston Open but succumbed to defeat against the in-form Danielle Collins. In June, the World No. 13 beat Leylah Fernandez at Eastbourne to get her hands on her first title of the season.

However, the Russian has failed to impress at Grand Slams. She exited in the second round at the Australian Open, French Open, and US Open. At Wimbledon, she reached the third round before losing to Paula Badosa. After a disappointing North American hard court swing, she looked confident against Hailey Baptiste at the Korea Open, beating the American 6-4, 6-2.
On the other hand, Emma Raducanu‘s hard work paid off in April after struggling at the beginning of the season. She reached her first quarterfinals of the year at the Stuttgart Open, before losing to Iga Swiatek. Raducanu found her rhythm during the grass swing, reaching her first semifinals in almost two years.
At Wimbledon, Raducanu reached the fourth round, beating Maria Sakkari en route, before losing to Australia qualifier Lulu Sun in the fourth round. She played in only two tournaments in the North American swing. She got to the quarterfinals of the Citi Open and lost in the first round of the US Open.
In Seoul, she beat Peyton Stearns 7-6(5), 7-6(3) and defeated World No. 40 Yuan Yue 6-4, 6-3 in the second round.
