Khris Middleton was one of the primary reasons the Milwaukee Bucks won the 2021 NBA title. Since then, injuries derailed his career, and the franchise decided to trade him away for a younger option in Kyle Kuzma.
The latter won the championship just the year before the Bucks did, playing alongside LeBron James as a part of the 2019-20 Los Angeles Lakers squad. Many believed he would continue wearing the purple and gold after signing a contract extension later that year.
However, the franchise’s desire to bring in Russell Westbrook made him expendable as a trade asset. Three and a half seasons with the Washington Wizards did not make him the superstar many felt he would become.
Nevertheless, that did not deter Kuzma from becoming a target for the Bucks. They wanted a healthier wing to play alongside franchise cornerstone Giannis Antetokounmpo.
He might not shoot as well as Middleton, but he makes it up with his mid-range, length, and drives to the rim. The franchise, though, has championship aspirations next season after retooling its roster this offseason.
Since there is time before the 30-year-old gets back to work, he took the opportunity to hold season 2 of his KuzManila tour. He has a lot of fans in the Philippines, as was evident from the massive basketball court-length mural they created for him.

As part of his tour, Kyle Kuzma took the opportunity to play some hoops with younger children. In a clip, he is seen bringing the ball up the court, slowing down before the 3-point line, and then launching the ball towards the basket. The problem, he missed by an embarrassing margin.
Fans troll Kyle Kuzma for missing shot against kids
The moment this clip surfaced on social media, it went viral. Basketball fans watched in shock as the 9-year veteran missed an easy three-pointer. He was not being guarded by anyone, and could see the basket easily as he was playing against children.

Despite all that, for Kyle Kuzma to miss the shot had fans rolling on the floor. Some wondered why he was taking it so casually when he was essentially there to promote his brand. Then, fans pointed out that this casualness is what has stopped him from becoming a superstar.
They believe his shooting has not improved and that should be a worry for Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks. Check out examples of those reactions below.

There is another clip of Kyle Kuzma backing down an opponent and scoring a layup. However, that too was against children, which has fans questioning if he has the desire to ever be better than average at basketball.
Chinese basketball great, Yao Ming, leaves Kyle Kuzma stunned
Before arriving in Manila, Philippines, Kyle Kuzma travelled to China. Some NBA stars go to the Land of the Dragon as the massive market makes it lucrative for their brand-building ventures.
When he was in China, the Milwaukee Bucks star got to meet NBA Hall of Famer Yao Ming. While sitting down with the Houston Rockets great, Kuzma asked him about his favorite American city.
When Ming answered that it was Philadelphia, the Utah alum was shocked. He then went on to ask with a curious face as to why a city which many Americans would not call their favorite interested the 7′ 6″ center. To this, the 44-year-old replied.
Uhhhh Cheesesteak.
Yao Ming replied
Yao Ming added that he likes museums, and the ones in Philadelphia and Chicago interest him. However, the former has its cheesesteak, which makes it even more special.
Yao Ming told Kuz why Philadelphia is his favorite city in the US:

His former teammate, Cuttino Mobley, a Philadelphia native, introduced him to the food, and it has since been his favorite. Hearing this had the recently-engaged Kyle Kuzma in splits.
