Kyle Kuzma

Kyle Kuzma averaged 10 points in 2019-20 playoffs’ for LA Lakers

Kyle Kuzma was drafted as the 27th pick in the 2017 NBA Draft by Los Angeles Lakers, ever since that day Kuzma has always been impressive whenever he has stepped onto the court. However, one might suggest that he had quite a low standard last season given his abilities. With Lebron and Davis on the floor, Kuzma was no more the main scoring option. He averaged just over 12 points and 1 assist per game. This resulted in the fanatics spreading rumours against the player to be traded away from the defending champions.

In multiple trading rumors, Kuzma was included as a valuable trading option for the Lakers. The champions have made multiple moves till now, and it looks like Kuzma is going to stay. It seems like Kyle Kuzma is eager to prove his critics wrong. As he posted a Puma commercial on his twitter as an answer to on his haters.

He now has become a rotational piece in the system. If Kuzma really wants to prove his critics wrong, he should try to make the most of the available minutes. The Lakers are lacking a good shooter in the roster. If Kuzma can improve his 3-point shooting percentages, he can cement himself as the third scoring option in the team.

Rob Pelinka and the Lakers front office might be planning to add a third star in a season or two.  If he steps up, he will be a long-term player with the team, if he does not, he could be traded in the near future. But keeping aside all the speculation, let’s see how Kyle Kuzma performs as the season starts from December 22.
