Milwaukee Bucks forward Kyle Kuzma popped up the big question to model Winnie Harlow and she said yes! While the proposal happened a couple of days earlier, only recently did the fans get a sneak peek of the elaborate affair. The Canadian personality took to IG to share snippets of her engagement with her followers.

Kyle Kuzma and Winnie Harlow got engaged on 13th February, slyly a day prior to Valentine’s. In a joint post on social media a few days later, the two announced it to the world. The first out of the carousel of pictures showcased the two sharing an intimate kiss with Harlow showing off her ring.

The following pictures reveal the surroundings of the proposal with some more shots dedicated to the 8.5-carat oval cut gemstone. The two were on a private plane with a grand spread of roses all around the surface which matched Winnie Harlow’s all-red outfit. “She said yes!” wrote Kyle Kuzma over a post on X.

Kyle Kuzma and Winnie Harlow also shared a video of their family’s reaction to the engagement. Suffice it to say, the NBA star had it all figured out. In the clip posted, the Cay Skin founder entered the poolside area of the place they were staying only to find her entire family already waiting to surprise her. In another video posted separately by the athlete, the two were at a celebratory dinner with family that displayed fireworks in the background.

Anticipatedly, the post garnered congratulatory messages from all over fans and celebrities alike. Among them were La La Anthony, Draya Michelle, Angel Reese, Sunisa Lee, and several others. The two began their relationship amid Covid, in 2020. At the time, Kuzma was playing for the LA Lakers. While he has been traded twice since then, their relationship has been a constant.

While the planning must have started six months ago, Kuzma had the location selected years prior. In the interview, he shared their first trip to Turks and Caicos which had constituted a significant part of the couple’s memory. Disguising the trip as a Valentine’s getaway to the Caribbean Islands, Kuzma had Harlow fully convinced. While the model did think of the possibility of the proposal once, she dismissed it in the name of Valentine’s.

Winnie Harlow shared her oblivion even after looking at the spread-out roses on the plane. It was after Kyle Kuzma shared an original poetry with her ending with the big question did she realize what was happening. She had said yes before the NBA player got to take out the precious gem that he designed himself.
