The 2024 NASCAR season saw Kyle Larson becoming the first driver since Kurt Busch to attempt the iconic double duty attempt. His day didn’t go as planned owing to the rain delay at Indy as well as at Charlotte. The Hendrick Motorsports racer is set to attempt winning the Brickyard race for the second time, this year with McLaren.
Kyle Larson, who is one of the most versatile racers in the world, is excited about his Indy attempt and is already planning to race one day at the most prestigious motorsport event in the world, the 24 Hours of Daytona. But it is going to be really tough for him to race at the mega event, while being a full-time NASCAR racer owing to the busy schedule. So, he might have to race there once his full-time racing is done.
Further talking about the point, Kyle Larson revealed what has inspired him to try racing at LeMans. He pointed out that he would like to experience the race one day, as he learned the atmosphere at the French track is better than at Indy.
Kyle Larson wants to race at the Adelaide Supercars race
Since it hard to race at LeMans as it’s on June, during the NASCAR Cup season, Larson has other plans. He pointed out that he wants to race in the Adelaide Supercars race, considering the race is after the end of Cup season. This could also give him the opportunity to race in the sprint car track in the city.
The comments from Kyle Larson shows he almost had a solid plan for his future, racing in other series. It would be interesting to see how long it will take for the veteran racer to get enough support to race at LeMans as well as at Adelaide.
