The San Francisco 49ers can’t seem to shake off their poor luck in terms of injuries to their players. Just when key players like Christian McCaffrey and Deebo Samuel were on the verge of full recovery, Nick Bosa picked up a knock and increased head coach Kyle Shanahan’s headache.
While presenting the injury report after the latest practice, Shanahan went through all the players’ names on the list until one reporter asked him about Bosa. Shanahan said the All-Pro pass rusher suffered ‘a little hip pointer’ after colliding with one of his teammates.

49ers insider David Lombardi further reported on Bosa’s injury with a video of the 27-year-old’s training video.
Kyle Shanahan said Nick Bosa suffered a "a little hip pointer" early in Wednesday's practice and that made Bosa "extremely limited" through the week. Bosa is officially listed as questionable — we got a brief glimpse at him during the short viewing window: pic.twitter.com/G5qIiv9dUf

An injury is the least of Nick Bosa’s problems
There are still a couple of days remaining until the 49ers face the Buccaneers in Florida. So, he might be able to shake off the slight knock. His status isn’t similar to Dak Prescott’s.
However, Bosa has an even bigger pressing matter he must worry about. The former league’s best defensive player found himself on choppy grounds after publicly showing support for Donald Trump.
Even though his teammates found no issue with it, social media and the left-leaning population of the country were up in arms. They wanted the league to punish Bosa for his transgression.
Bosa chose to remain silent when reporters asked him to elaborate on his display. This angered the internet even further. He even caught heat from Browns quarterback DeShaun Watson’s coach, Quincy Avery.
Trump eventually secured the Oval Office by defeating Kamala Harris. When the reporters asked Bosa his opinion once more, he replied that speaking his mind was worth it.
Yet, it doesn’t rule out the fact that he might still face some sort of punishment from the league committee. Fortunately, for Shanahan, they are taking their time to announce a verdict.
