AC Milan remain confident about signing Manchester City skipper Kyle Walker during the ongoing winter transfer window. The veteran right back has reportedly expressed his desire to end his seven-year-long association with Man City.
Kyle Walker was a notable absentee from the squad during the club’s recent FA Cup win over Salford City despite being fit. He has reportedly fallen out of favor at the club, with manager Pep Guardiola preferring Rico Lewis over him. Walker’s form has been equally disappointing, with personal issues also taking a toll on him. Guardiola had previously claimed that the Man City skipper was not selected for tactical reasons.
However, the Spaniard most recently confirmed that Walker had expressed his wish to depart and explore opportunities abroad. AC Milan, who most recently came off a brilliant Supercoppa win under new manager Sergio Conceicao, have shown strong interest in signing Walker. The Italian giants are confident of agreeing on a short-term deal to bring the six-time EPL winner to the club.

Walker still has 18 months left on his Man City contract, which means that the Cityzens will look to sell him for a decent transfer fee. His signature would definitely help AC Milan bolster their defensive options, as well as bring their Serie A campaign back on track. The Englishman might, however, face tough competition from Davide Calabria and Emerson Aparecido at the Serie A side.

The Italian giants face competition from Saudi PL clubs, who are also interested in signing the 34-year-old right back. Manchester City, on the other hand, have started preparing for a future without Walker. The club most recently bought Uzbek defender Abudkodir Khusanov.
Kyle Walker’s ex-partner Lauryn Goodman contacts the player’s lawyers in a bid to move out of England
Manchester City star Kyle Walker’s former partner, Lauryn Goodman, has reportedly stated her intent to move out of England with the pair’s two children. She has also made contact with the player’s lawyers, asking for help to relocate.
The Kyle Walker cheating saga has continued for a long time now, as it includes a divorce battle with estranged wife Annie Kilner over infidelity issues. The 34-year-old is living away from his family. Amid uncertainty, Walker’s ex-lover Lauryn Goodman, with whom he has two kids, wants to move to Dubai for a year. She has reportedly sought permission to rent out Walker’s Sussex home, where she now resides.
Recent reports stated that Goodman suggested that she and her children have been going through a ‘turbulent’ time over legal issues with Walker. She is, therefore, interested in moving to the Middle East to focus on her two kids.
