Kylian Mbappe, despite his unbelievable talent and eye for goal, has come under significant criticism and hate in recent times. The Real Madrid man was accused of skipping games with the national team citing injury, enraging fans by appearing in the UCL and La Liga in the meanwhile.

As the international break commences, French teammate and Liverpool centre back Ibrahima Konate came forward to back the 25-year-old. Recent reports also revealed that Kylian Mbappe suffered a minute muscular injury, and did not want to take a risk. Fans however, weren’t impressed as the called Antoine Griezmann as the ‘real’ captain.

For starters, a report claims that Griezmann is looking for the ‘perfect’ time to make a return, with perfect being a period of poor results. As per the report, Griezmann wants to follow in the footsteps of Zinedine Zidane, who did the same in the past. Fans drew their own conclusions from the same as a supporter understood that Griezmann wants the manager to be sacked.

In spite of leading France to glory in 2018, his side has failed to deliver at every other major tournament. Despite winning their last game against Belgium 2-0, Mbappe and co. were helpless as they were beaten 3-1 by Italy a month ago. Griezmann currently plies his trade with Atletico Madrid and may even consider a move to Inter Miami in the future.
