Kylian Mbappe leaving Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season is no secret. The forward announced his decision to part ways with the Parisiens through a video on X.

Despite several rumors linking the player to Spanish giants Real Madrid, there has been no official statement regarding the same. In a surprising addition to his departure, Ethan Mbappe is also following his brother on his way out of the club.

Mbappe leaves PSG with a legacy in Ligue 1 that very few can match. His brother on the other hand, is significantly younger and is in the beginning of his professional career. He has followed Mbappe around in the early stages of his career but with Mbappe set to leave PSG, it is time for the 17-year-old carve his own path in the game.

As confirmed by Mbappe’s mother Fayza Lamari, Ethan will also be leaving the club alongside his elder brother. While Kylian is headed for Spain, Ethan is likely to continue in Ligue 1.

Despite all the rumors linking him to Real Madrid, 2020/21 Ligue 1 champions LOSC Lille are leading the race for his signature. Ethan can operate as a midfielder and can also play in multiple positions if needed.

Kylian Mbappe is on his way out of Paris Saint-Germain. The No.7’s last game for the club will be on the 26th of May against Lyon in the French Cup final.

Both Real Madrid and PSG are in the ‘final’ stages of striking up a deal for the player and will look to bring him to Spain before the start of the 2024 Euros. As for Ethan, his future lies elsewhere.

A fan commented that PSG were done with the Mbappes at this point. Others said that it will only benefit Ethan Mbappe to step of out of his brother’s shadow and write his own story.
