Real Madrid picked up their fifth win of the 2024-25 La Liga campaign as Kylian Mbappe took center stage for the Los Blancos. Deportivo Alaves were on the receiving as goals from Mbappe, Rodrygo, and Lucas Vazquez sealed the three points for the hosts. Once again, Mbappe made headlines as he scored in a fourth straight game for the club.
After a goal and an assist against Espanyol, Mbappe paired up with star man Jude Bellingham for a quick exchange near the penalty area. The Englishman played the ball through to the No. 9 as he took a brilliant touch to beat his marker. Mbappe then did well to find the bottom left corner, beating Antonio Sivera from close range.
As of now, Mbappe has six goals and an assist in eight games in all competitions this season. After receiving harsh criticism from fans and pundits for a slow start, it appears that the forward has well and truly found his feet in Spain.
Fans are expecting a similar performance from the player when Real Madrid takes on rivals Atletico Madrid at the end of this month.

On the other hand, a few stated that their opinion of Mbappe will be formed when he performs against better teams.
Here are some of the fan reactions:
Madrid now have 17 points from seven games. However, they are still a point behind rivals FC Barcelona, who have a game in hand as well. Barcelona face Getafe in their next game while Real have the difficult task of going up against Diego Simeone‘s men. Atletico are unbeaten in their last 12 games and most recently drew 1-1 against Rayo Vallecano.
