Kylian Mbappe recently completed his dream to Spanish side Real Madrid. The Frenchman is set to earn around €15 million per season at the club, making him the highest earner at Real. Even though this marks a steep drop from his previous contract with Paris Saint-Germain, a signing bonus of around €100 million spread across the course of his contract, is set to make up for the same.
In addition to the same, various endorsement deals amounting to another $20 million only contribute to the player’s enormous wealth. As per recent reports, the player has put his money to good use, as he is all set to become one of the youngest club owners in Europe. It is understood that Mbappe is on his way to purchase a significant stake at Ligue 2 club Stade Malherbe Caen amounting to around €20 million.
To make things more interesting, fans discovered that Mbappe nearly signed for the club as a teenager. The deal eventually fell off after the club were relegated to Ligue 2 and Mbappe chose AS Monaco instead.
As of now, Mbappe has been unveiled as a Real Madrid player and has taken up jersey No.9 under head coach Carlo Ancelotti. Fans are excited to see what the player will bring to the table this season.
Thibaut Courtois backs Kylian Mbappe to succeed at Real Madrid
Despite getting Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain for free, the Frenchman is one of Real Madrid’s biggest signings of the 21st century. As he prepares to make his competitive debut for the club in the UEFA Super Cup, shot stopper Thibaut Courtois has backed the 25-year-old to succeed at the club. The goalkeeper also added that it will be interesting to see how he teams up alongside the rest of Madrid’s attack.
Mbappe's one of the best players in the world and it's always better that he's playing with you than against you. Adding Mbappe to this team will already help us.Thibaut Courtois told TUDN
Real Madrid already boast proven match-winners like Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. Adding the Ligue 1 top-scorer to their frontline only means one thing – disaster for the rest of Europe. Even though a stacked team doesn’t always guarantee success, if there’s any team that can pull it off, it’s Real Madrid. Their latest ‘Galactico’ has all the backing he can get from his teammates and other club legends.
