Philadelphia Eagles former legend Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce are expecting their fourth daughter. As Kylie revealed their plans for the baby’s name, fans took to social media to voice their disapproval of the choice. 

In the most recent episode of her Not Gonna Lie podcast, the mother of three discussed the challenges she and her husband faced while choosing a name for their fourth daughter. After taking all the time in the world, they finally decided to do something unique with the baby’s name, and unlike their three daughters– Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett, the fourth one will have a gender-neutral name.

Going on the 4th [child], it’s like a disaster [picking a name]. You’ve already used [the names] all up, all bets are off. We’re doing a little crossover action, I feel like we have to lean a little bit towards those sort of gender-neutral names for our fourth. Because we have Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett — so if we do a full commit to a girly name at this point, it would not sit well with the other three, I think.

Kylie Kelce said in her podcast

Previously in December, Kylie was asked if she had picked a name for her baby— whose expecting news she announced in November 2024. She revealed that she does have a name in mind but wants to keep it within her family. However, since the name is not yet finalized, she assured fans that they aren’t missing out on any details.

Fans react to Kylie Kelce picking a gender-neutral name for fourth daughter

Though Kylie appreciates traditional names, she feels it’s right to maintain a gender-neutral theme for their new addition. However, this announcement has not sat well with the fans, who have taken to social media to express their displeasure labeling the Kelce family’s choice as “woke” and dismissing it as a joke.

One fan trolled the Kelce family by writing, “The entire Kelce family is nothing but a woke joke,” on X. “Bowing to the golden calf of wokeism. Sad for their kids honestly.” Here are some of the fan reactions: 

Apart from the criticism, the Kelce family can’t wait to welcome the newest member of their family, especially the couple’s oldest daughter, Wyatt. Kylie shared the five-year-old is really excited to become a big sister for the third time and it’s “very sweet” to watch.
