Kylie Kelce refuses to deal with Jason Kelce if he doesn’t work out three days every week

Jason Kelce joked that his wife, Kylie Kelce, insists he stays out of the house and keeps working out even after retirement, so she can handle him better.

Jason Kelce and Kylie Kelce married back in 2018 (6 years) and have three lovely daughters together. So, she knows how to keep her husband in check.

Kelce retired from football in February after playing 13 seasons for the Philadelphia Eagles. During his playing days, Kelce worked out to keep his strength and fitness up because, as the center, he was the first line of defense for the quarterback.

Most might perceive that players tend to loosen up a bit after retirement because there is no fuss about a game each week. However, it’s not the same with the 36-year-old Jason Kelce. According to the Super Bowl winner, his wife, Kylie Kelce, makes him work out at least three days a week so she can deal with him.

She just implemented this, but she said I have to work out a minimum of three days a week; otherwise, she doesn't want to deal with me.

Chris Long, who was Kelce’s teammate for two seasons in Philly, agreed with the 6-time all-pro football player. He chimed in with the scientific value of working out at regular intervals. Long highlights that exercise helps release dopamine, which keeps both physical and psychological aspects of a person’s life.

Kelce nodded in approval of Long’s hypothesis. He further revealed seeing positive results of exercise even after hanging up his boots.

That's why she's implemented this rule, and when I've worked out, I am in a great mood. I interact well at home with my kids, and I just am a better person [than] when I don't work out.

Several pictures from his February prove that Kylie’s idea worked. Jason, in a previous interview, revealed of losing up to 20 pounds and may shed more in the future as well.

This isn’t an isolated case because a lot of offensive and defensive linemen become unrecognizable after retirement. They consume generous portions of food during their playing days, but when they leave it, they switch back to a normal and healthy diet.

On a lighter note, when Jason said Kylie implemented this rule to deal with him, he perhaps meant it literally. Regular football tends to keep players away from their families for more than half of the year, which begins in May and ends around February if their team plays in the Super Bowl.

However, Kelce doesn’t have to worry about that anymore and can spend as much time in his home with his kids. It only increases the work for a homemaker who continues to work 24/7. So, to keep Kelce busy, Kylie strictly employed the three-day workout rule to keep her husband occupied, so she doesn’t have to deal with him every single minute.
