After getting out of the Bloodline vortex since post-WrestleMania, LA Knight has made life difficult for Seth Rollins and his faction. He’s currently not chasing any championship gold, but is constantly generating the loudest reactions to whatever he’s up to of late. ‘The Megastar’ joined Sam Roberts and Megan Morant on the Raw Recap after this week’s show in Providence.

Morant asked Knight whether he felt he’s overlooked or underestimated by the locker room. While not outright agreeing to it, the 42-year-old did say he’s being looked at like a threat by his peers. What does that mean? Knight elucidated that it could be getting someone politicked out of their position, but he’s not entirely sure about that.

I think I’m seen as the threat that I am. And whether that means that somehow I get maybe politicked or anything else out of my spot, maybe that’s what it is, I don’t know.

The former US champion added that maybe he’s struck some fear into his coworkers by always staying on the ball. Speaking about if he’s been overlooked, Knight believes he’s just not been brought to his fullest potential. The Maryland native regurgitated about his steep rise in the business but quickly digressed, saying he doesn’t want to dwell in the past.

Knight affirmed that he’s still chasing the world title, which brought him to his Money in the Bank debacle from last month. Knight, however, admitted that things don’t always go as planned. He then brought Rollins up and painted him as desperate.

‘The Defiant One’ underscored how the five-time world champion keeps on calling for help from Paul Heyman and his two lackeys, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed. Knight is firm on his stance of Rollins being the underdog at the moment.

LA Knight outfoxed Seth Rollins on this week’s Raw

What LA Knight could potentially be referring to by calling Seth Rollins the underdog seems to be a by-product of recent weeks. This Monday on Raw, ‘The Visionary’ overcame a resilient Penta and immediately asked Paul Heyman to call upon his recruits to potentially double down on the former AEW star.

However, just when Breakker and Reed were showing themselves off on the entrance ramp, Knight, from behind, clocked Rollins with a BFT. ‘The Megastar’ knew he had to retreat quickly, and he eventually did. Rollins’ bodyguards tried chasing down the erstwhile Eli Drake, but the latter was as nimble as they come.

Knight took the stairs and stood among a sea of rabid fans in the Amica Mutual Pavilion with everyone screaming for him at the top of their lungs. Knight has made a mockery out of the former Shield member for weeks. This weekend, they’ll wrestle each other for the first time ever at Saturday Night’s Main Event.

The numbers game will certainly haunt Knight, but he’s expected to receive some backup from CM Punk, who has unfinished business with Rollins and company, too. There could be one another interested party that could come to his aid as well.

Roman Reigns could join the party as well after Heyman claimed on Raw that ‘The OTC’ doesn’t have the balls to come back and stand across from them. A potential 6-man tag team match featuring Rollins’ trio up against Knight, Punk, and Reigns seems plausible for SummerSlam at this point.

What’s up with LA Knight’s world title aspirations in WWE?

Behind the recent upsurge in LA Knight‘s momentum, his fans are hoping it’s a silver lining for the real-life Shawn Ricker. When he didn’t end up becoming Mr. Money in the Bank 2025, the WWE Universe trashed the company’s booking of him, which, in a nutshell, has been all over the place.

Since reverting back to his current gimmick from Max Dupri, Knight has proven that he’s competent enough to hold a world title in WWE. The closest he’s even gotten to that point was when he pushed Roman Reigns to the limits at Crown Jewel in 2023.

A few months later, ‘The Megastar’ had another opportunity to shock the world at Royal Rumble in a Fatal 4-Way showdown against Reigns, AJ Styles, and Randy Orton. However, that didn’t pan out well either for ‘The Undeniable One.’ He hasn’t competed for the top prize since that point but may be inserted into the world title picture after getting rid of Seth Rollins and his men.
