La Liga: Athletic Bilbao vs Barcelona Player Ratings as the Catalans salvage a solitary point

Mikel Balenzlaga (6/10): The left-back struggled to provide useful crosses in the box and was not at his best.

Inigo Martinez (8/10): Martinez had a towering presence at the back and scored the only goal for Bilbao.

Daniel Vivian (7/10): Vivian struggled to deal with the pace of Depay and others in their own half.

Inigo Lekue (6/10): Lekue also had problems dealing with the pace of the Barcelona left-backs.

Iker Munian ©  (7/10): The Captain led from the front and made some key passes throughout the game and found several openings.

Dani Garcia (6/10): Garcia was deployed in the midfield and had a decent outing.

Unai Vencedor (6/10): Vencedor made some key passes but was wasteful when it came to the final third.

Alex Berenguer (7/10): Berenguer caused a considerable amount of trouble for Barcelona with his quick passes.

Inaki Williams (7/10): Williams was a constant obstacle in the Barcelona half and created some big scoring opportunities.

Oihan Sancet (6/10): Sancet paired up with Williams upfront and was productive in the attack.

Substitutes

Oier Zarraga (N/A)

Mikel Vesga (N/A)

Jon Morcillo (N/A)

Nico Williams (N/A)

Raul Garcia (6/10): Garcia did not have any special impact on the game after coming off and continued whatever Oihan Sancet was doing upfront.

FC Barcelona

Neto (GK) (7/10): Neto withstood the Bilbao offensive throughout the game and made several important saves.

Sergino Dest (7/10): Dest delivered in some decent crosses and helped his side in attack.

Eric Garcia (6/10): Garcia was slow and struggled to keep up with the pace of the Bilbao forwards and was sent off for a foul.

Gerard Pique (NA): Early substitution

Jordi Alba (6/10): Alba’s crossing was wayward and he did not have much impact on the game.

Frenkie de Jong (8/10): De Jong created some good scoring chances and cracked open the Bilbao defence on several occasions.

Sergio Busquets © (7/10): Busquets dictated the flow of Barcelona’s game and was on top form.

Pedri (6/10): Pedri struggled to keep up with Bilbao’s pace and gave away the ball too cheaply on occasions.

Antoine Griezmann (5/10): Griezmann had a night to forget as he never looked settled with the ball and had no contribution on the night.

Memphis Depay (8/10): Depay scored a thunderous striker to put Barcelona level and was a constant threat. Depay could have won it for Barcelona at the end of the first-half if he had scored an easier chance than he finished earlier.

Martin Braithwaite (5/10): Braithwaite missed a sitter and was not at his best. Braithwaite had several other opportunities to score but was disappointing.

Substitutes

Ronald Araujo (7/10): Araujo was a towering presence at the back and never allowed the Bilbao strikers to dominate Barcelona. Araujo found the back of the net with an acrobatic effort but the goal was disallowed due to an earlier foul by Barcelona on a Bilbao man.

Yusuf Demir (7/10): The youngster made some good touches and was instrumental for Barcelona. He made some key passes and looked great on the ball.

Emerson Royal (N/A)

Sergi Roberto (7/10): Roberto found Depay for the goal and made some more key passes in the second-half.
