Barcelona vs Atletico Madrid: Barcelona faces Atletico Madrid at the Camp Nou Stadium in Matchday 23 of La Liga.

Carrasco came forward to provide a threat scoring the 1st goal but Barca completely dominated them after that goal as Alba, Gavi and Araujo scored the goals giving Barca a lead by 3-1 at half-time. Alves scored the final goal for Barca and later on, Suarez doubled the lead for Atletico to draw a final score of 4-2 at full-time.

Barcelona

Ter Stegen (6.3/10):  Made a crucial save in the 1st half but was not good with the judgments overall. He had a satisfying start at the end.

D.Alves (6.3/10):  Alves has been fully focused throughout the game. He gathered an assist and scored a goal helping Barca to gain a lead. He scored an amazing freekick that was close to the goal where the ball just went through the pole. He was sent off getting a red card later on.

Ronald Araujo (6.9/10):  Made some exceptional clearances from the box and also got involved in scoring a goal.  He stayed put at his position covering the center area well.

Gerard Pique (7.1/10): Was bold with the clearances. Didn’t get much to do but as the Barca attack was good enough.

Jordi Alba (7.4/10):  Alba provides Barca the equalizer scoring an astonishing volley. He received the first yellow card of the game but played a great game overall.

Frenkie De Jong (6.1/10): Was present in the gaps well covering the midfield region well. He was good with the run-running counter-attacks.

Sergio Busquets (6.2/10): The Barca captain was sharp in midfield aiming for a few interceptions. He had a decent game overall.

Pedri (6.2/10):  The Pedri show didn’t work today as Alves stole the show. He had an average game tonight and was not in the bigger picture much.

Pablo Gavi (8/10): The youth shines at Camp Nou once again providing Barca with a lead placing a successful header towards the net. He had a good cover-up with the attacking support from the wing.

Ferran Torres (7.8/10): He was looking sharp in attack going for the shots at the right place. He gave good attacking support and added his name towards an assist.

Adama Traore (7.9/10): Traore makes a magical return getting involved in both the goals for Barca. He was strong with the wing run making advantage of his pace and really gave a tough time to Atletico’s defence.

Substitutions:

Aubameyung (5.8/10): Auba make his debut start for Barca. He was good with attacking movements and position switching and made a positive first start.

Nico Gonzalez (6.1/10): covered the midfield well when the attackers were active forward. He had a good game overall.

Dest (6.1/10):  got very few chances with the ball entering late. He made only 1-2 interceptions in the game.

Atletico Madrid

Jan Oblak (4.3/10):  The Atletico keeper completely failed to make an impact getting the least attempts to stop the ball. He couldn’t react quicker trying to stop the goal.

Mario Hermoso (5.6/10):  He couldn’t cover the area properly leaving too much gap and Traore was easily able to make a run past him. His cover-up was not upto the mark.

Stefan Savic (6/10):  was not good with the judgments. Couldn’t cope up with the runs of the attackers.

Jose Gimenez (6.7/10): He was not sharp with the defence but helped with the attack and also got a name to an assist. He made some forward movements getting involved with the corner headers.

Sime Vrsaljko (5.5/10):  Gavi really got on the nerves of Vraljko badly as he went past him very easily. Vrasljko was completely surprised with the runs and was totally blank to react on that.

Thomas Lemar (6/10): Lemar got very less involvement with the ball possession. He was not so good with the ball control today and had a bad game tonight.

Jorge Koke (6.4/10): Was trying their best to cope up in the defensive mid-role and made some good interceptions. He didn’t get any chances to go ahead.

Rodrigo De Paul (6.8/10):  He gave a good cover-up at the start of the game. He was the only Atletico midfielder seen to be getting involved more often.

Yannick Carrasco (7.1/10): Carrasco gave an early breakthrough to the Atletico side placing at the bottom corner scoring the 1st goal of the match. He was not involved much with the chances later on.

Luis Suarez (8/10): Suarez was sharp with the movement and successfully found Carrasco at the right place. He scored the 2nd goal with a header providing Atletico with something to remember.

Joao Felix (6.1/10): He had a decent game today. He managed a few attempts with a run but was fouled moving forward. Was surprising to see him substituted when he was needed in attack to increase the lead.

Substitutions:

Wass (6.3/10): He covered the full-back spot well entering in place of Vrsaljko. He was good with the movements but received a yellow on his debut.

Reinildo(6.4/10): He got involved in some good play entering in place of Hermoso. Covered the defence well after entering.

Matheus Cunha (6.4/10):  He tried to provide some movements in the attacking but he got easily blocked off.

Correa (5.8/10): He got very little chance to cover the attacking position and was not much involved with the flow. He had a major role to play but didn’t get the best of it.

Herrera (6.1/10): He got very little chance to play entering late on the field.
