Father Time is undefeated 8/10 times. The two times where he fell short are in the cases of LeBron James and Derrick Henry. An NFL running back’s production begins to decrease once they hit 30 years of age but after the Wild Card round last night, the Ravens running back proved why he deserves to be called King Henry.
His performance against Pittsburgh was so good that Lamar Jackson made an iconic comparison between Derrick Henry and a popular fictional character, Lightning McQueen from Disney’s Cars.
The quarterback described how it feels to watch King Henry run across the field from his perspective.

Despite getting an exclusive view of Henry whizzing past the defense, the potential MVP of this season can never get enough of watching him play.
Derrick Henry had nearly 200 yards and 2 touchdowns against the Steelers
Playoff Henry is real and he showed up against the Steelers. On his back, the Ravens went on to rush for nearly 300 yards against their divisional rivals. The running back alone put up 186 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns. However, the highlight of the night was not his scoring in the endzone.
The highlight was Derrick Henry stiff-arming Minkah Fitzpatrick as though he weighed just 100 pounds. After that play, Lamar Jackson is likely to have thanked the Lord for putting this man in a Ravens jersey because the last thing anyone would want is to be against this freak of nature.
Derrick Henry’s regular season performance was no less impressive as he had 1,921 yards and 16 touchdowns. He averaged a career-high 5.9 yards per carry. His remarkable season was overshadowed by Saquon Barkley’s 2,000-yard season but for the running back to achieve this feat at 30 years is a testament to his greatness.
