A Buffalo Bills fan tried to mess with Lamar Jackson and paid a hefty price. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback made sure the fan had a piece of his mind.
Jackson snapped the ball on second and seven from inside the Bills’ 30-yard line and looped a pass near the right sideline, where DeAndre Hopkins waited patiently. D-Hop rose the highest to make a picture-perfect one-handed catch.
The Bills duo, Taylor Rapp and Christian Benford, tried their best to contain Hopkins, but the momentum took them across the goal line for a touchdown. It was the All-Pro receiver’s first score in a Ravens jersey.
Hopkins walked near the guardrail to celebrate the moment with the fans when a young Bills supporter patted him on his helmet. He repeated the same with Jackson, who was right behind Hopkins.
However, instead of tapping Lamar’s helmet, the fan smacked his face mask. This led to a small incident. Jackson retaliated by pushing the fan right back into the bleachers.

Contest between MVP finalists ends in incredible fashion
There was ample buzz surrounding the Bills-Ravens game due to what transpired in 2024. Jackson and Bills quarterback Josh Allen fought tooth and nail in the AFC divisional round game last year, with the Bills coming out on top at the final whistle.

This result influenced the final voting for the league MVP trophy, which went to Allen. It sparked considerable controversy on social media. Analysts and fans were outraged.
Naturally, everyone’s attention was focused on Sunday’s match at Highmark Stadium. Allen dealt the first blow. His precise pass to tight end Dalton Kincaid gave the Bills the lead. Rookie kicker Tyler Loop opened the scoring for the Ravens with a field goal three minutes before the end of the first quarter.

Two minutes into the second quarter, Ravens All-Pro running back Derrick Henry gave the side from the AFC North its first lead of the night with a 30-yard rushing touchdown. Jackson increased the gap four minutes later with a 10-yard run.

The Ravens took a fourteen-point lead three minutes into the third quarter from a sharp pass from Jackson to wide receiver Zay Flowers for a 23-yard TD. Bills RB James Cook, who recently signed a new contract, opened his tally for the season with a walk-in touchdown from a handoff by Allen.

Allen then secured his second of the tie with a two-yard scramble, reducing the deficit to nine points. The joy lasted a little over a minute as Henry cut through the Bills’ defense to complete a 46-yard touchdown run.
The Ravens looked set to exact their revenge, but Allen tapped into his MVP aura four minutes before the end. He found second-year receiver Keon Coleman in the end zone for a 10-yard touchdown and punched in his second TD just a minute later.
Allen could have tied the game, but Coleman couldn’t hang onto his pass on the following two-point conversion. The Ravens turned the ball over on downs, which presented the Bills with one final attack.
Coleman once again had a great chance of winning it. Allen’s pass found the second-round pick wide open with just one Ravens defender to beat. The Ravens’ safety did his job and tripped the lanky receiver to the ground to save a certain touchdown.
Bills head coach Sean McDermott sent kicker Matt Prater to kick a field goal from 32 yards for the win. Prater dispatched the FG with ease, and the Bills snatched a crucial victory by just one point. The game ended 40-41 for the Bills.
