Spain marched past France in the semi-finals of UEFA Euro 2024 after picking up a well-deserved 2-1 win. Les Bleus were no match for Spain’s brilliance as Allianz Arena was witness to one of the best goals of the competition, scored by none other than FC Barcelona’s Lamine Yamal and Dani Olmo.
The 16-year-old had a moment which will be remembered for years to come, as he became the youngest goal scorer in the history of the Euros. Ahead of the game, French midfielder Adrien Rabiot targeted Yamal, claiming that he needed to ‘do more’ if Spain are to progress to the final. As destiny had it, Rabiot had a front seat view of Yamal’s unbelievable strike, as the teenager curled the ball from outside the box into the top left corner.

At the full-time whistle, Yamal made sure that Rabiot got the message. He stared into the camera, cheekily gestured with his hands to ‘speak now!’ before running off to celebrate with his teammates.
The youngster was also awarded the Player of the Match award for his unbelievable effort against the 2018 World Cup winners.
