Lamine Yamal is currently having the ‘best’ vacation of his life. A week after lifting the Euros with Spain in Germany, the player now finds himself on vacation in Greece. The player has been active on social media, posting pictures and videos of his experience for his 18 million followers to see! More recently, Yamal flaunted Neymar Jr.‘s iconic No.11 Santos kit, much to the delight of fans around the globe.
Neymar himself took notice of the picture and reposted the same image as seen on Santos FC’s official Instagram account. ‘Grande’ penned the Al-Hilal star as he recognized the gesture made by one of the most exciting talents in European football. As Yamal stands on the cusp of becoming the best player for FC Barcelona, fans couldn’t help but compare him to young Neymar Jr. at Santos.
Santos proceeded to invite Yamal over to hand him the ‘Sacred Mantle’. The club also invited him to pay them a visit at Vila Belmiro, given the fact that he is on vacation. From one generational talent to another, it won’t be a surprise if Yamal grows up to be the next big thing in football.

Barcelona risk ‘losing’ Lamine Yamal to Premier League club
There is no doubt whatsoever as to the fact that Lamine Yamal is Barcelona’s biggest asset going into the 2024/25 season. At just 17 years of age, the winger has shown enough brilliance on the pitch for fans to be excited about the next 8-10 years that come. However, with just two years left on his existing contract, the club have to consider offering him a new deal.
It was reported earlier that the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes requested the club to put forward the terms of the new deal they will offer the player once he turns 18. While the club have no plans to let go of their star, the player’s father, Mounir Nasraoui has plans of where he’ll end up if a deal isn’t finalized.
Real Madrid have been categorically been ruled out by virtue of being eternal rivals to the Catalans. As per reports, the player’s father will consider a move to either Paris Saint-Germain or Manchester City if something goes wrong with Joan Laporta and the club. After an impressive season with both club and country, it will only be fitting if the youngster claims the 2024 Golden Boy award.
