As per a post on Barcelona’s official X account, the player has suffered a hamstring strain to his left leg. Yamal was fouled multiple times against Denmark, with the teenager seen limping at the end of the game. A shocking stat revealed that Yamal is the most fouled player in Europe’s top five Leagues in all competitions (38 times). Amidst all the commotion surrounding his fitness and game time, international teammate David Raya has given his take on the same.

He’s a 17-year-old genius. But he’s still very young. Just let him enjoy playing football. He’ll experience hard times and then he’ll need our support.

David Raya told the press

As for Barcelona starlet Gavi, the 20-year-old midfield prodigy is close to making a return. He has been on the sidelines since November after tearing his ACL. Even though reports state that the player has received the medical green light, the club may not feature him until November. This means that he will also miss games against Bayern and Real. However, fans have opined that easing him into the first team is better than rushing his recovery and making things worse.
