The former goalkeeper has laid out two reasons as to why Germany have the upper hand over Spain. Lehmann claimed that Spain are ‘inexperienced’ while also being ‘too small in size’. Lehmann also dismissed Rodri as a difference maker for the Spanish team for reasons that he plays alongside 19 and 21-year-olds. In a recent interview with MD, Kroos stated that Lehmann does not represent the German national team.

With just one day to go for the game, fans recalled how Yamal stated in a press conference that he is ‘saving’ his goal for Germany. Despite picking up two assists for La Roja, the 16-year-old is yet to score for them. With just three games to go for a potential spot in the final, his first goal at the tournament couldn’t come at a better time.
