The LSU Tigers (4) and the Ole Miss Rebels (12) are both ranked in the Top 15 of the Associated Press and undefeated so far. The Tigers and the Rebels are heading into a crucial matchup, looking to maintain the perfect record. But the stakes might be higher this time around, at least for Lane Kiffin, the Rebels head coach.

Kiffin’s daughter, Landry Kiffin, hard-launched her boyfriend just days ahead of the LSU vs. Ole Miss game. Shouldn’t be an issue, but there comes the twist: Landry’s beau is from the rival party. Landry and the LSU Tigers linebacker Whit Weeks have been dating for some time away from the media spotlight.

Lane Kiffin almost immediately weighed in on the hard launch. The coach tweeted, “Take the over.” And the Ole Miss Rebels clash got interesting.

Landry Kiffin is studying Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate from the University of Mississippi. Landry, part of Kappa Kappa Gamma, also owns a clothing brand, Ju1ce, and works as a Pilates instructor at Power Movement. Although she’s dating Weeks, Kiffin’s loyalty lies with the Rebels.

Lane Kiffin himself tweeted that his daughter will be rooting for them. He reposted an old tweet that featured the coach with his ex-wife and Landry, who’s just a baby held by her parents.

However, off the field, the coach has no grudge for Whit Weeks. In a conversation on the SEC Coaches Teleconference, Weeks admitted that he’s happy that the two are dating each other.

Whit’s an awesome kid, comes from a great family, and I’m glad that those two are happy together. It has nothing to do with the game itself. It’s a really great family, and I think a lot of people got to see that on the SEC Special when they went hunting with the family.

Whit Weeks, 20, attended Oconee High School before committing to LSU in 2023. He made an immediate impact as a true freshman with 50 tackles and 0.5 sacks from 11 starts. As a sophomore, he recorded 125 combined tackles, 3.5 sacks, 1 interception, 3 pass deflections, and 2 forced fumbles from 13 total games during the season. In their game against the Ole Miss Rebels last year, Weeks registered 18 tackles and one sack.

Landry Kiffin used a bit of harmless deception and dedicated her night to pulling off a surprise for her boyfriend, Whit Weeks, recently.

According to a new TikTok video she posted Wednesday, Landry secretly planned a five-hour, 335-mile drive from Oxford, Mississippi, to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, leaving at 3 a.m. to arrive before dawn. To keep the plan under wraps, she told Weeks she would be tied up with a Parents’ Weekend event for her Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and couldn’t visit.

The video documented every step of the nocturnal mission. It began with Landry setting off in the dark, coffee in hand, and continues through quiet highway stretches as she narrates the journey. After hours on the road, she finally reaches Baton Rouge, letting herself quietly into Weeks’ room to complete the surprise.

Inside, the camera captured only faint shapes in the darkness, but the audio told the story. As Landry woke her unsuspecting boyfriend, a drowsy Weeks could be heard saying just one word, “What?” clearly confused as he tried to understand the unexpected wake-up. The clip has quickly gained traction as a feel-good moment, celebrating spontaneity and the lengths people will go for love.
