The charter wars involving Front Row Motorsports and 23XI Racing against NASCAR has gotten into uncharted territories. They have taken the legal route by filing a Federal anti-trust lawsuit against the sanctioned body and the owners, the France family. The results of these lawsuit will change forever regardless of the outcome.
The NASCAR community is split on who to support over the deal. Legendary NASCAR crew chief and race analyst Larry McReynolds has also taken a side. He is with NASCAR on the drama and has taken some serious shot at 23XI co-owner Michael Jordan, who is the major reason behind the lawsuit, claiming the statement from the NBA legend on the legal action is hideous.
"It's a hideous statement in my book", says @LarryMac28 on Michael Jordan's statement. "He used the word 'unfair' … what do you mean unfair? Could you clarify a little bit on unfair?" #NASCAR

Later he backed his argument against the FRM-23XI coalition, asserting they are not experienced enough in the sport to demand such drastic changes to the sport. He highlighted how the veterans of the sport in Richard Childress, Rick Hendrick and Joe Gibbs have signed the deal. McReynolds feels this proves the deal is good for the teams.

The race analyst further pointed out that NASCAR does some things that isn’t always best for the teams for the sake of overall business. He things it is wrong that a team that are not competitive in FRM and team with less than half a decade experience in 23XI fight a model that has been successful for over 75 years.
Ther arguments made by Larry McReynolds holds some merit, but at the same time comes from the natural aversion towards drastic changes to something he has been part of his whole life. NASCAR has to settle the dispute soon before things become really ugly as it will be bad for the sport, even if NASCAR wins convincingly.
