Laura Govan reveals dirty details about Gilbert Arenas' relationship
NBA Veteran Gilbert Arenas was in an incredibly toxic relationship with TV Personality Laura Govan. The two spent over a decade together as partners, sharing four children across 12 years. However, the couple split up in 2014, and have both discussed the drama that ensued during and after their relationship. The latest drama came to light when Laura Govan brought up her confrontation with social media influencer and Rockets Star Jalen Green’s baby mama, Draya Michele.
Laura Govan went on Carlos King’s “Reality with the King” podcast and shared some stories from her life. Amongst these, King asked Govan about Draya Michele and Gilbert Arenas’ relationship. Govan didn’t hold back and gave a blunt answer about her confrontation with Draya Michele following her ‘relationship’ with Govan’s ex, Gilbert Arenas.
Draya was brought on to Basketball Wives… Guess what? I liked her. No idea she was Gilbert’s jump-off. I had no idea until I was going through some papers at the house and saw that he had given her $25,000 and brought her to LA.
Laura Govan told King about how she discovered Michele’s involvement with Arenas
Laura Govan revealed that she had been a co-star alongside Draya Michele on the Basketball Wives show. Although the two shared a mutual liking for each other, things took a turn for the worse when Govan discovered papers which indicated a relationship between Arenas and Michele. As Govan fumed with rage over her ‘colleague’ sleeping with her partner, she confronted Michele. However, things went ugly real quick.
I remember calling my friend and telling her to pick up my kids for me… I remember going to Hollywood where she was filming downstreet. I remember showing up and I wasn’t supposed to be filming. I walked passed everybody and I beat the fu*k out of her.

Govan went into graphic detail about her altercation with Michele, and how she had to be physically separated from her co-star. The topic previously started with Nick Young hinting at a story of Draya Michele and Gilbert Arenas getting ‘intimate’ in the back seat of his car. Young did not divulge further details to maintain the privacy of the people involved in the story.

Most know Laura Govan as a Television personality and for her high-profile relationship with former NBA star Gilbert Arenas. However, many do not know about the hooping backstory of Govan. Govan was a well-known hooper in high school and revealed details about her basketball career. She spoke about the same on the podcast with Carlos King.
Most people don’t even know I played ball. I played basketball all my life and I’m actually good and those who know me know right. There was two years I led the state of California and scoring in high school.

Govan told King that she was the leading scorer in the State of California during her time, and even went on to play basketball overseas. She would go on to coach her daughter and her son Alijah, a 5-star upcoming basketball phenom.
Her endeavors in basketball would also lead her to meet Arenas during her time in the Public Relations dept. of the Sacramento Kings. Safe to say, Laura Govan knows the ins and outs of the Hoop World better than most.
