One surprising yet familiar face was spotted at Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s rally in Wildwood, New Jersey on Saturday. Someone known to be the greatest defensive player of all time– Lawrence Taylor.
The legendary linebacker’s attendance at the rally was highlighted by New Jersey State Representative Paul M. Kanitra. The assemblyman shared a post on X with L.T.’s picture at the rally addressing him as his favorite player growing up.

After retiring from the NFL in 1993, Taylor was inducted with the Hall of Famer legacy in his first year of eligibility, 1999. Growing up he was a Democrat, but his friendship with the former US President as they played golf together turned him into a Republican, which he accepted at the rally with great pride.
Even though Trump is going through a criminal trial in New York, his supporters came in great numbers at his rally in New Jersey. As reported by ABC News, more than 100,000 people gathered on Saturday for Trump’s speech at his election rally, two of which were NFL legends.
