Vice President JD Vance is trying his best to answer questions as the entire country is now gripped by the situation developing in Minneapolis after an ICE agent shot and killed a 37-year-old citizen.

After initially blocking ICE agents from following some vehicles, Renee Nicole Good was trying to get away from a couple of them when one officer shot three times through the windshield of her Honda Pilot, killing her instantly.

Since then, Secretary of Homeland Security, Kristi Noem, raised a firestorm by labeling Good as someone who committed ‘domestic terrorism’, and claimed that the mother of one used her vehicle as a weapon against ICE officers.

Despite backlash, Vice President JD Vance followed the same line of comment and even went on to mention that the woman was killed in a ‘tragedy of her own making’. He then declared that this was part of leftist agenda as the Democrats were ‘training’ people to go after ICE agents.

Dude is flat-out lying on TV. Imagine never having a backbone or belief enough in anything to comprehend that people are gathering because they’re pissed. They’re disgusted. They’re fed up. They’re not paid actors. They’re American citizens. We all saw the video. Every damn frame. A POS broke every rule of ‘training’ and murdered one of us.

This was longtime LeBron James foe Michelle Beadle, who wrote this on Threads and then posted a screenshot on X. Essentially, she was flaming JD Vance for trying to carve a different narrative rather than check the facts.

Timberwolves fans call out ICE during one-minute silence for Renee Nicole Good

This incident has shaken up Minneapolis, and protest marches against ICE and the government have sprouted all across the state of Minnesota, even though JD Vance has labeled them as part of a ‘leftist agenda’.

Apart from Michelle Beadle, quite a few others associated with basketball have come forward to condemn the act. Minnesota Timberwolves head coach Chris Finch said this before their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

As we all know, our community has suffered yet another unspeakable tragedy. We want to just convey our condolences and heartfelt wishes and prayers and thoughts to the families and loved ones and all of those that are greatly affected by what happened.

Chris Finch said

He did not specifically point out the government or anyone, as Finch did not want to create a controversy amidst the political firestorm that had already started.

The franchise followed its head coach’s stance and held a moment of silence for Renee Nicole Good before their game. As both teams and the fans stood up to honor their fellow fallen citizen, a fan yelled:

Go home, ICE.

A Wolves fan yelled

Hearing this, many others cheered, and a major section inside Target Center started clapping, indicating the growing resentment towards ICE officials and the government.

Nick Wright slams JD Vance and Government’s response to ICE shooting

With outrage spanning all parts of the country, the usual suspects, such as LeBron James, and a few others, did not speak up. They might be waiting to see how things go, as President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance have proven they can come down hard on them.

Are we okay with there no longer being any type of shared morality amongst us as Americans that trumps our political affiliations? … I’m not OK with any of it. Deep down in your heart, in your soul, in the marrow of your bones, I gotta believe you’re not OK with it either.

Nick Wright said on his show

This was Nick Wright, who believes political affiliations should not come in the way of what is right. He, as do many, believes that this shooting was unjustified, even though JD Vance thinks otherwise.

The emotional Wright hopes people start to rethink what their core values are, as the situation is getting out of control, where the citizens are struggling to understand where their morality is heading.
