One of the most respected hip-hop artists as of today, J. Cole, recently blindsided his fanbase with a surprise release of his single Clouds. This song has J. Cole back on the charts again as he trends on Twitter for his remarkable lyrics and social reflections throughout the four-minute banger. J. Cole released his new song cLOUDs through his personal blog, The Algorithm, sharing it directly with fans. He accompanied it with a casual note saying he made the track a few days prior, added a second verse, and decided to post it since he now has a blog. The song, produced by DZL, Omen, and Cole himself, touches on themes like AI, aging, and societal issues, all wrapped in an introspective vibe.
In the past, the Middle Child rapper caught a lot of heat for not clapping back at Kendrick Lamar amidst his beef with Canadian rapper Drake. Cole initially dropped his own diss track, 7-Minute Drill, before removing it from streaming platforms and apologizing days later.

After running all over his basketball nemesis in the West, LeBron James decided to wind down with some time on social media. The King posted a number of stories, giving shoutouts to Kevin Durant, Luka Doncic, and Bronny James over their continued progression. Among them was the Fayetteville rapper, who recently released his single “cLOUDs.” Bopping to the beat, probably, No. 23 reacted with a series of cloud emojis to give his seal of approval.

James is currently in the midst of an ongoing rap beef between Kendrick Lamar and Drake. Even J. Cole got dragged into it as shots flew, with Kendrick Lamar saying, “Motherfu*k the big three, ni**a, it’s just big me.” Since then, James has repeatedly made it clear whose side he’s on. He was recently caught vibing to Kendrick Lamar’s “tv off,” a straight slight toward his former friend, the OVO CEO.
