LeBron James brutally accused of missing Kobe Bryant memorial as Stephen A Smith beef gets ugly

Stephen A. Smith, Kobe Bryant and LeBron James

Over the past few weeks, the LeBron JamesStephen A. Smith beef has gone to a different extent. Both personalities have been aiming jabs at each other. Notably, James recently attended the Pat McAfee show where he addressed the courtside altercation with Smith during a Lakers game. On the other hand, Smith went to the extent of claiming ‘he would have swung at James’ if the Lakers star had raised his hands at him.

Now, James did not keep quiet, but he responded again. James took to Instagram and posted a video of Smith doing a boxing session with his trainer with terrible form. This was eventually going to get a reaction from the NBA analyst, and it did. However, this time around, it has gotten ugly. In the latest segment of the First Take show, Smith ridiculed James regarding his absence at the late Kobe Bryant‘s memorial.

I never brought up really & never really discussed why you were not at Kobe Bryant’s memorial service. I never really brought up or discussed why you did not attend Dwyane Wade’s Hall of Fame induction.

Looks like this beef just got personal. For Lakers supporters and NBA fans in general, Kobe Bryant’s untimely death continues to rank among the most agonizing memories. In the aftermath, LeBron James even received praise from Jeanie Buss for his conduct. To put it mildly, Smith went too far in suggesting that James insulted the Lakers great in any way.

Now the twist here is that, per the Los Angeles Times, LeBron James attended Bryant’s memorial but chose to not get filmed. This completely changes the situation. Here, Smith has brutally accused James on Live TV. His actions wont sit well with the Lakers star and the fanbase.

Stephen A. Smith responds to LeBron James’ latest Instagram post

LeBron James‘ Instagram post where the star trolled Stephen A. Smith made waves in and around the NBA community. Given that, fans were eagerly waiting for the latest segment of the First Take show as they knew Smith would address the post. Thats exactly what Smith did. He called James ‘petty’ for the post on First Take.

That’s how petty you’ve become. You’re LeBron James. You’re that butt hurt over the things that I’m saying that you would post that video. When has LeBron James ever done something like that? But suddenly you’re doing that as it pertains to me. This man is in his feelings. I wonder why. Could it because I don’t believe you’re the GOAT? Because I’ll never believe you’re the GOAT? Because I have you number two at all-time.

Smith announced he was ending the Jordan vs. LeBron argument three weeks ago, but that statement hardly seems relevant anymore. Whatever the cause of this dispute, it doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon.

LeBron James’ former teammate trolls Stephen A. Smith with hilarious social media post

After Stephen A Smith’s recent remarks claiming he would ‘swing’ at James, the King’s former teammate, Kevin Love jumped to his defense. Love did not waste any time in trolling the NBA analyst. Just like James, Love also took to Instagram to troll Smith. Love used Smith’s own famous “Stay off the weed” slogan to call B.S. on the veteran journalist.

Just a friendly reminder to everyone out there…

Kevin Love captioned his post

From 2014 until 2018, Love and James were teammates in Cleveland. They advanced to the NBA Finals four times in a row, and in 2016 they defeated the Golden State Warriors 73-9 in a stunning 3-1 comeback to win the championship. Despite missing the first Finals series due to injury, Love completed the Cavaliers’ Big Three in the following two Finals and is renowned for being James’ sole standout teammate in 2018.
