LeBron James gets a challenge
Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James has certainly made his mark as one of the best ever to do it. He is one of the most versatile stars in the game today. The Lakers star has also been known for his monstrous dunks throughout his career. From Lob dunks to Tomahawk dunks, James knows every trick in the book and is widely considered by many as one of the best dunkers the league has ever seen.
Recently, Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson made an appearance on the show Up and Adams. During the show, Richardson pondered on the possibility of facing LeBron James in a one-on-one dunk contest. The Colts star believed he had certain advantages in a potential matchup.

Anthony Richardson even mentioned LeBron James as his favorite player in the NBA. It will certainly be interesting to see James going up against Richardson. Many fans have even praised Richardson before for his dunk skills. Some even stated that Richardson could have won the 2023 Dunk Contest. Even though basketball players have great verticals, Richardson’s athleticism can match that of a basketball player.
James has never taken part in the NBA Dunk Contest in his career. Nevertheless, beating James will certainly be a tough task, and Richardson will certainly have to bring his A-game on. James will almost be 40 and still is one of the fittest stars in the league.
LeBron James is still going strong at the age of 39 years
LeBron James will be playing in his 22nd season in the NBA. In the last few years, fans have seen James slow down a bit and not be the same monster he was during his prime. However, fans couldn’t deny one thing. It is that James is certainly one of the most fittest players in the league.
LeBron James is known to have a disciplined workout routine, which is one of the main reasons for his longevity. James still carries the Los Angeles Lakers on his back and even averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, and 8.3 assists for the last season. However, James has certainly stated that these might be his last years in the league.
At the age of 39 and 40, NBA stars take honorary roles or become a mentor on the court for their team. It only goes to show that James is different. His longevity is certainly one of the main reasons he is an All-Time great in the NBA.
