The USA is sending a powerhouse team to the Paris Olympics. The lineup features some of the biggest names in basketball, including LeBron James, Stephen Curry, and Kevin Durant. For them, this will be their final Olympic Games, with James and Curry both confirming as much.

At 39, ‘King James’ is looking to make the most of his final Olympics. Meanwhile, Curry, who will be 40 by the 2028 Olympics, is also eager to make this opportunity count. Ahead of the Paris Olympics, LeBron James went on the Today Show to confirm as much.

No, I won't be there. I'm getting the hell out of that city when the Olympics come to Los Angeles [laugh]. All right, I'll live there all year. I will not be in Los Angeles in '28. I'm getting out of there.

However, coach Steve Kerr warns against complacency, reminding the team that the rest of the world has caught up to the USA in talent. With this being their last Olympics, the motivation is there to make it count and leave a lasting impression on the world stage. The aim is to leave without any regret. As such, winning the gold becomes paramount.

Draymond Green reveals his dream teammate, LeBron James

Draymond Green has expressed his desire to play with LeBron James multiple times throughout his career. The Golden State Warriors forward cited him as the player he wants to team up with the most. Despite their history as rivals on the court, Green has always been a fan of James and has deep respect for his game.

In a recent conversation, a reporter asked Green about the player he wanted to team up with. The question only takes into account the players Green hasn’t teamed up with yet. The answer from Green did not surprise anyone. He chose ‘King James’ as the player to team up with. Check out the exchange in the below tweet:

While there are no obvious connections between Green and James, they share a mutual appreciation for each other’s game and are both clients of Klutch Sports Group. Unfortunately, the possibility of a team-up between Green and James seems impossible at the moment.

This is because Green remains under contract through 2027. Meanwhile, James nears the end of his career at 39 years old. However, Green’s admiration for James is a testament to the respect and admiration among NBA players, even between fierce competitors.
