Team USA played their first exhibition match against Team Canada, winning decisively with a final score of 86-72. The team delivered a dominant performance, with every player giving their all. Following the match, LeBron James‘ longtime rival, Kevin Garnett, had words of praise for James.

LeBron James had a great game overall for Team USA, scoring seven points, five rebounds, three assists and three steals. Many people were stunned by LeBron’s solid all-round performance and one of them was Kevin Garnett who praised James. He also highlighted the Lakers’ superstar’s contributions to Team USA.

During the game, James held Team USA together, initiating plays with his exceptional playmaking abilities. He started as the power forward for the stacked team and took on active passing duties, a role akin to Draymond Green‘s. According to Garnett, LeBron can play as a playmaker for another decade that would suit his game despite his age.
