The NBA has been the most popular debate topic. Inside the NBA on TNT is one of the most popular NBA related show. The host panel comprises of former NBA stars Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, Kenny Smith and Ernie Johnson. They always come out in criticism of players and teams. However, players like LeBron James and other have taken this as a positive prospect to their game.
The Hall of Famers are often into constructive criticism. While all of them noted that the criticism can be tough, they appreciate they appreciate that it came from players and legends have attended high stature previously. Shaquille O’Neal has made a lot of controversial statements. Be it criticism or praise, he has always targeted a set of players in his bucket list. Similarly, Charles Barkley has a different opinion on the game of different players. Chuck hasn’t been around a lot of controversy but is equally responsible for all the comments coming out of the host panel. Same is with Ernie Johnson and Kenny Smith.

The Bleacher Report recently made a documentary on the players’ reaction of the show. The survey of players was based on the inner functioning of the panel. They asked the players to open up about their feeling regarding the same. LeBron James, Damian Lillard, Jimmy Butler and many players have reacted affirmatively to the criticisms. Jimmy Butler poignantly noted that they may say positive and negative things. But as a player, one must learn to take both together. While LeBron James showed his respect for the legends. James highlighted how everyone on the panel especially Chuck tell about every aspect of the games. Kyle Lowry opened about Ernie Johnson is a little less as compared to Shaq and Chuck. Damian Lillard said how the negative and positive criticism help develop the players.
Many players felt that Shaq has been overly critical in analyzing their games. The players today take criticisms more positively than ever. And it should be that way. Players revealed how criticism are more important to develop the game. Most of them seem unfazed by their negative comments, but it looks like the fans have been more hurt by them.
