NBA superstar LeBron James is regarded as one of the best players in the sport. He is often included in the GOAT debates alongside legendary players like Michael Jordan and the late Kobe Bryant. However, James has put in a lot of work over his 22-year NBA career to be included in these debates. The NBA social media team recently revealed his full pre-game routine for the Los Angeles Lakers.
LeBron James has plenty of time to prepare for the game physically and emotionally because he gets to the arena between 1:30- 1.40 PM. His dedication to his pre-game routine and attention to being completely prepared for tip-off is evident in his early arrival. He then moves to the locker room at around 2:15 PM.
James spends roughly 20 minutes warming up in the locker room after arriving. To lower the chance of damage, this session aims to warm up his muscles and increase blood flow. To get his body free and ready for optimal performance later in the evening, James works out with mobility exercises, stretching, and mild cardio.

At 2:45 PM, James takes the court for his conditioning. He enters his final routine at this point, practicing shooting drills and concentrating on ball handling to make sure he’s ready for the match. The Lakers star continues to surprise people in his 22nd season, and he dominates the NBA in large part because of his detailed, orderly game-day routine.

In his 22nd NBA season, LeBron James is breaking records and setting new ones. In an NBA Cup game, the Los Angeles Lakers star faced the San Antonio Spurs. James recorded yet another triple-double in the third quarter of the 2024–25 NBA season. For the first time in his storied career, James recorded four straight triple-doubles.

James’ triple-doubles against the Memphis Grizzlies, Toronto Raptors, and Philadelphia 76ers had helped the Lakers win three straight games prior to the Spurs. James’ recent exploits have already helped the Lakers win four straight games following their clash with the Spurs. The NBA community has responded to his performance against the Spurs in a variety of ways.
Aside from this, the Lakers have performed average over the last few matchups, winning and losing some in the process. They are (11-7) in the West and sit at 5th position on the table. James and Co. will be hoping to end this season with some silverware.
