Another LeBron James and Dillon Brooks matchup, another viral moment. The two have been locking horns several times and have had some intense exchanges over the last few years. And the game on Monday was no different as the Phoenix Suns took out the Los Angeles Lakers in a comprehensive 125-108 victory at the Crypto.com Arena.

The Suns forward was constantly trash talking with the Lakers players. During the second quarter, another chapter was added to the LeBron JamesDillon Brooks saga. The Suns forward caught an outlet pass and was able to move away from James before ending the counter with a strong dunk. He later pulled off James’ shoulder shrug celebration twice, which led to a bunch of boos from the Lakers fans.

In the third quarter, Brooks repeated chirping got under James’ skin as the four-time champion got involved with the 29-year-old and the Suns bench and had to be separated by his Lakers teammates.

When the game was all but done at garbage time, Brooks took on Bronny James at the mid-post while LeBron was sitting on the bench. Bronny locked down Brooks and forced the forward to committing a travel, which brought a reaction from LeBron, who definitely enjoyed it.

But in the end, it was Brooks who had the final laugh as he scored a team-high 33 points as the Suns improved their record to 13-9 and sit at seventh in the Western Conference standings while the Lakers remained at second after losing their seven-game winning streak.

Fans took to the internet after LeBron James’ viral reaction

While Bronny has not had a lot of minutes on the court so far this season as he continues to develop after being drafted last year. His father got the opportunity to see him play some tight defense on Brooks.

The fans loved James’ reaction after seeing his son put in the work. Here are some of the reactions:

LeBron James keeps his double-digit pointer streak alive

James has not had a hot start to the season by his standards. The Lakers forward was ruled out for the first 14 games of the season due to sciatica nerve issues. It has been five games since his return to action and the Lakers have gone 4-1 during that period, their only loss being to the Suns on Monday.

The soon to be 41-year-old is averaging 15.2 points, four rebounds and 7.2 assists per game in a record-breaking 23rd season in the NBA. However on Monday, James had a rough outing offensively, scoring only 10 points and contributing three assists.

The only positive from his performance on Monday was that James was able to keep his double-digit pointer streak alive and extended his streak to 1,297 games over a span of 18 years. A record that is highly unlikely to be broken anytime soon. The previous record was held by Michael Jordan from 1986 to 2001.
