Savannah James recently disclosed her loathing for the word ‘wifey’. Her hatred went to the extent that she issued a strict warning to LeBron James to not call her that while introductions.

In the recent episode of the It’s Giving.. Podcast Girliess, while talking about the different between side chicks and sneaky links, Savannah took a detour to being called wifey. She recalled an incident where LeBron James introduced her with that term. Savannah shared how she pulled him aside afterward, asking him not to call her that.

I loathe 'wifey' with my whole entire soul. Don't call me your wifey and I'm not. I had to politely tell my husband back in the day. I don't want you to start to think that it's okay for you to say this, and then it means you don't have to go the next step.

Savannah James had expressed her desire to be recognized by her own name. It was not a personal issue, rather a progressive idea. Moving forth, LeBron James adjusted his behavior to match Savannah’s viewpoints. The incident was from before the two got married.

LeBron James was the one who confirmed that he was on board once his wife gave him the nod. This was because Savannah James only got to be with her husband for an extended period of time during his offseason. Therefore, her permission was rightfully required. This is one of the reasons why people call him the family guy.

It was expected that she would give him the yes considering her constant support for LeBron throughout his career. LeBron James has now played 21 seasons in the NBA, and he has always had the support of his wife.
