LeBron James has ‘proud pops’ moment as Bryce James put up another dominant performance
LeBron James was hyped after his second son Bryce James won MVP at the Hoophall Classic game with his career-high performance.
LeBron James had a proud reaction to Bryce James
Bryce James had one of the best performances of his career in the matchup between Sierra Canyon and Grayson. The Trailblazers guard took charge of the team in the 60-46 win and also took the MVP trophy home.
Bryce has often been deemed as the better prospect out of LeBron James’ two sons. However, he hasn’t yet had a signature performance to make this impression. But the 17-year-old’s career-high against Grayson had LeBron gushing all over social media.
The praise did not stop there as the 40-year-old also posted back-to-back stories on his Instagram. From the highlights of his amazing skills to the moment Bryce won the MVP, James showed off each moment. James’ hyped reaction was only natural as Bryce is only adding to his success a few weeks after committing to Arizona.
So proud of you Maximus!!! I literally just shed a tear! PROUD POPS!!

But his performance at Hoophall Classic was remarkable, to say the least. While scoring his career-high of 16 points, the MVP drained four three-pointers. Bryce grabbed five rebounds as he shot 6 of 10 from the field and also contributed on the other end. The 6ft 6″ also dunked on Grayson and had four steals in 17 minutes.
Bryce James’ entire family attended his senior night
Bryce James made the announcement about his college decision earlier this year. The teenager chose to commit to the Arizona Wildcats and passed on Ohio State, USC, and Duquesne. Hence, ahead of his college debut and Hoophall Classic debut, Bryce celebrated his senior night at Sierra Canyon on Thursday.
Ahead of the Sierra Canyon Trailblazers matchup against the Loyola Cubs, James shared a wholesome moment with his family. James’ high school made a special gesture by getting the 17-year-old’s jersey framed for his senior night.
While gifting the frame, an announcement of his achievements was made by the school. His father LeBron, his mother Savannah, and both siblings posed with Bryce while wearing hoodies with his pictures over it.
The shooting guard also performed well in the matchup, scoring 12 points, five rebounds, and five assists. His performance helped Sierra Canyon to blow out the Cubs 84-42. Bryce and the Trailblazers dominated Loyola after also blowing out Chaminade a few days prior.
