LeBron James recently responded to Nike’s latest ad on social media that celebrated the unstoppable Team USA after they captured another gold medal at the Paris Olympics. The ad which has sparked both congratulations and controversy featured powerful images of Brittney Griner, Diana Taurasi, and Sabrina Ionescu.

The USA women’s basketball team clinched its eighth consecutive Olympic gold medal after a hard-fought battle with the host nation, France. The commercial from Nike highlighted their hard-fought victory. According to fans and analysts, it was the hardest they have had to fight due to the growing popularity of the women’s game outside the USA.

LeBron James, who himself helped the male team alongside Steph Curry to a fifth consecutive gold, took to social media to express his admiration for the commercial and the team’s achievement. He joined a chorus of fans and athletes who have been singing the praises of Nike’s ad and Team USA’s dominance which by far outmatches the male team in terms of dominance.

The women’s team almost met their match against a French team that had vowed to end their global dominance, their first tough challenge at this stage in 32 years. The team was led by A’Ja Wilson who showed why she’s still the best player on the team and also survived being dragged into overtime and had a last-gasp shot by Gabby Williams not ruled as a two-point shot instead of the three-point she intended to get.

Nike’s commercial celebrating Team USA women’s basketball’s gold medal win at the Paris Olympics has been a huge hit with fans. The video has been viewed more than 600,000 times and shared over 4,000 times on X, with hundreds of comments pouring in.

Despite a sloppy performance against France, Team USA women’s basketball emerged victorious, maintaining their status as the best in the world. A’ja Wilson led the way with 21 points, 13 rebounds, and four blocks, helping the team survive a close call in front of the many superstars who came to cheer them on to another epic victory.
