LeBron James gave an ageless performance in the exhibition win over Germany

LeBron James scored the final 11 points for Team USA, leading them to a 92-88 win over Germany in their pre-Olympics exhibition game in London. The American team has now finished their exhibition schedule with a 5-0 record and will begin group phase play against Serbia on Sunday.

The game was close, with Germany taking the lead in the second and third quarters. However, LeBron James took over in the final quarter, hitting a dunk and a three-pointer to give Team USA the lead. Joel Embiid, whose position has been under scrutiny, added 15 points and 8 rebounds, while Stephen Curry finished with 13 points.

Team USA’s win comes after a close game against South Sudan, which they won 101-100. They will now travel to Paris to continue their Olympic preparation, facing Serbia, South Sudan, and Puerto Rico in the group phase.

The American men are seeking their fifth straight gold medal and eighth in the last nine Olympics. With James leading the team, they are off to a strong start in their pursuit of another gold medal. James was named the U.S. male flag bearer for the Olympic Opening Ceremony in Paris.
