“Took two naps today…” LeBron James lists down reasons for amazing triple-double achievement
LeBron James credits sleep, hydration, and good nutrition for his impressive triple-double performance in the Lakers' win over the Kings.
LeBron James has been able to defy father-time by taking care of his body.
After his age-defying performance Saturday, LeBron James credited three essential habits for his impressive triple-double performance in the Los Angeles Lakers’ 131-127 victory over the Sacramento Kings. James, who is in his 22nd NBA season, emphasized the importance of these core elements in maintaining his energy and skill, particularly on the second night of a back-to-back.
LeBron James finished the game with 32 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists. Later, he went on to highlight the importance of the important elements that are key to his performance, where he noted that rest and recovery have become increasingly critical for him at age 39.

This season will witness the increased debate surrounding load management and for King James, who at his age should be thinking of the effect of father time. He, however, stated that he plans on playing for as many games as possible, barring injuries.
Luckily for him, he takes good care of his body well and doesn’t look like he needs a rest anytime soon. And this consistent physical preparation and in-game execution were on full display, particularly in the fourth quarter when he scored 16 points in just three minutes.
Sacramento Kings fall to 0-2 after LeBron James’ dominant performance
In an epic clash of two neighbors, the Sacramento Kings dropped to 0-2 on the season after a 131-127 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. Despite a strong effort, the Kings were ultimately outdone by LeBron James’ incredible performance.
After the game, the Kings’ stars were quick to praise James’ dominance. Domantas Sabonis expressed his admiration for James’ performance.
De’Aaron Fox also gave his two cents on King James.
Unfortunately for the Kings, it wasn’t their night, and the loss was a tough one, as they had the game in their hands until the Lakers went on a 21-0 run to start the fourth quarter. Without James’ heroics, the Kings may have walked out of Los Angeles with a win.
