James’ longevity and continued greatness are the reasons why many consider James a motivation. Jayson Tatum has also previously mentioned that he was a fan of James and the way he played. Moreover, he recently shared a story involving James.
Jayson Tatum recently shared a story of his childhood. The story revolved around the time LeBron James turned a young Tatum down for an autograph. He recalled Larry Hughes playing on the Cleveland Cavaliers alongside James. Hughes was great friends with Tatum’s dad. Young Tatum went to see the game and wanted to meet James and ask for his autograph. Unfortunately, James left without signing which left the young Tatum in tears.

Tatum always wanted to become an NBA player because he idolized Kobe Bryant and LeBron James. Now fans could see Tatum teaming up with his idol to play for Team USA.
In the championship-winning season with the Celtics, Tatum averaged 26.9 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 49 assists and finished 6th in the MVP voting. While he is in his basketball prime, fans could see him improve on his numbers and help the Celtics to more championships in the future.

Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown have played for seven seasons together in the NBA. They have finally managed to win the NBA championship last season. Both superstars were drafted by the Boston Celtics and since then have delivered on their promise.
Recently on the 7PM in Brooklyn podcast, Tatum talked about his evolving relationship with Jaylen Brown. He shed light on how they have managed to co-exist as a duo.
