ESPN has put out a list ranking featuring the best professional athletes of the 21st century. The list also includes many NBA legends, notably LeBron James, Kobe Bryant, Stephen Curry, and Tim Duncan.

LeBron James did not rank at the top of the list. According to ESPN’s list, James is ranked at number four below Lionel Messi, who took the third spot. Decorated Olympian and record-holding gold medal winner Michael Phelps took the top spot. Tennis icon Serena Williams took the second place.

LeBron James has been one of the most influential athletes of the 21st century. No one can deny the greatness of ‘King James.’ A top-five spot remains a prestigious honor. In ESPN’s ranking list, only Kobe Bryant joined LeBron James in the top 10. The decorated five-time champion was another influential athlete to ever play in the NBA.

Stephen Curry took the No. 14 spot on the ranking. The list by ESPN took into account all the achievements and the influence the athletes had on their respective sports. The impact of James and Bryant certainly took notice for ESPN to rank them in the top 10. Interestingly, LeBron James recently had another honor to his name.

LeBron James is about to be 40 and is still one of the best in the league. No one can deny his productivity and leadership skills. Players and coaches at the Team USA training camp have also voted James as the best player on the team. The poll was collected by the Team USA select team coach Jamahl Mosley.
