LeBron James has been a witness to the growth of Nikola Jokic from a 2nd round pick to being one of the greatest basketball players in the current era.
In his 23 seasons, the Akron native has played against or alongside many great players, many of whom are already in the Hall of Fame or will join the exclusive club soon after retiring.
From the likes of Shaquille O’Neal to Dwyane Wade, then to two more of his former teammates, Carmelo Anthony and Dwight Howard, all are now wearing gold jackets.
In fact, the league’s all-time leading scorer joined them as the only active player to do so when the 2008 Redeem Team was enshrined into basketball immortality.
After experiencing them all, James knows well enough which players were great and which ones were legendary. While speaking on his Mind The Game podcast, co-host Steve Nash asked the Lakers superstar if Nikola Jokic was the best offensive player he has played against.
There has not been a more dominant, complete player that I’ve played against… There is nothing he cannot do on the offensive end. Like, nothing at all.
LeBron James replied
LeBron James believes the Serbian is unstoppable on offense, as his court awareness, IQ, and uncanny ability to dissect opposition defensive schemes have made him who he is.

The 4-time champion has seen the Nuggets’ superstar grow to become the best player by far. At this point, it seems nothing can stop him, especially on offense.
Fans admire LeBron James praising Nikola Jokic
When one player gets the accolades from a compatriot, who also happens to be one of the two greatest basketball stars to ever take to the court, it means a lot.
That is why fans were reacting positively when LeBron James praised Nikola Jokic. They believe that such comments coming from the King mean more than any other accolade the Nuggets star can receive. Check out examples of those reactions below.

Lebron who has played against guys like Tim Duncan and KG in the playoffs at their peak says Jokic is the best player he’s played…wow

It’s not a tough question. The answer is a resounding yes! His game has no weakness. It’s ok to just give the man his props and say it…

Honestly, this is the highest praise Jokic has ever received from a current player. It's always been coaches/analysts who call him one of the best ever.

Nikola Jokic is currently either leading the league in or near the top of many statistical categories. If this trend continues, voters will find it hard not to award him his 4th MVP award at the end of the season.
Nikola Jokic and his Nuggets could not win against Spurs
This month alone, the Denver Nuggets have won 10 out of their 12 games, which has seen them sit in a joint 3rd with LeBron James‘ Los Angeles Lakers.

Their latest game should have also been a cakewalk, as the San Antonio Spurs were playing without leading superstar Victor Wembanyama, who is nursing an injury.
Instead, it turned out to be a different result, as the away team managed to keep pace with the 2023 champions and surged ahead in the 4th quarter.
The 139-136 loss essentially swaps the Nuggets with the Spurs, who were in 5th place in the West before this game. Considering how tight that conference is, Nikola Jokic should be looking to do more next time, so that they can stay in touch with the best.
