LeBron James and Anthony Davis

LeBron James was full of praises for teammate Anthony Davis after the team’s much-needed Game 4 win over the Denver Nuggets. The King asserted that Davis already knows his onions, which has been displayed through his consistent performances throughout the season and in the series.

Furthermore, LeBron James asserts that AD’s contributions have eliminated every discussion or need for him to want to prove himself. This is crucial as it shows the level of respect he holds for his fellow teammates.

AD doesn't have to prove anything to anybody. He's one of the best bigs we have in the game, one of the best bigs in the world. And he's showing that again through the first four games.
LeBron James said

Anthony Davis performed well during Game 4 of the series as he dominated on both ends of points scored and rebounds made. James acknowledged him publicly, which only proved to dispel the rumors of discontent between the two superstars.

AD has been a revelation for Purple and Gold alongside James. Even though he was ignored for the DPOY gong, his shine still hasn’t stopped. He averaged 24.7 points, 12.6 rebounds, and 3.5 assists per game in the regular season.

Shannon Sharpe also praised Anthony Davis after Game 4 performance

Anthony Davis produced a masterclass against the Nuggets with a double-double performance of 25 points and 23 rebounds. After the game, former NFL player and TV analyst Shannon Sharpe was in awe of him as he rained praises on the Lakers star.

Nikola Jokic was incredible again. Jokic gonna do what Jokic does. So, all we ask Anthony Davis - play him to a standstill…. This is the greatest playoff series I've ever seen Anthony Davis play on both ends of the court. He's going up against the best player in the world.

AD and LeBron James have been great but haven’t received the support they have craved from the other team members. However, the most recent game against the Nuggets was different as the likes of Austin Reaves and D’Angelo Russell stepped up and dropped 21 points each.

The challenge ahead is enormous, but with team spirit and strong camaraderie, nothing can stop the Lakers if they put their act together. And if Davis can continue doing what he does best, then the sky can be their limit.
