USA superstar LeBron James reaffirms his love for Kendrick Lamar's hit 'Not Like Us' as teammate Stephen Curry grows tired

The song Not Like Us by rapper Kendrick Lamar has already made waves across the country. As the days go by, it is even spreading in popularity worldwide. That was evident when the song played through the speakers before the friendly between the USA and Serbia in Abu Dhabi.

All that said, Stephen Curry and LeBron James had slightly differing views after the song was repeatedly played, even after the game. A video that has now gone viral shows the two leading superstars of the game gathering near the center of the court. As Not Like Us played again, the Golden State Warriors star said:

Damn with this song. It's not the only song in America.

To this, his longtime rival and fellow Akron native said:

As much as I love it, we’ve got to get something else.

LeBron James reaffirmed his love for the song, knowing it is Kendrick Lamar’s diss track against James’ friend Drake. However, even the Los Angeles Lakers superstar knows it is getting too repetitive. Since the song came out, it has taken over the entire country.

Kendrick Lamar made it even more catching when he sang it five straight times at his concert, which James attended. Every place that allows music has been replaying the track over and over. The pace at which the track caught popularity has prompted sporting arenas, especially basketball, to play it even more.

Stephen Curry is tired of listening to it non-stop. Now he has James with a similar viewpoint even though he likes the song. Not everyone wants to keep listening to the same music repeatedly. Even if it is the song, everyone wants to listen to.

Stephen Curry led Team USA to win over Nikola Jokic’s Serbia

In the last game against Australia, the USA did win, but many were concerned with the lack of cohesion between the superstars. Tonight was supposed to be a tougher test against reigning MVP Nikola Jokic and his Serbian teammates. However, after playing against Australia the previous night, fatigue crept in.

It showed in the scoreline as Team USA beat the Serbians 105-79, led by Curry’s game-leading 24 points. It also showed the plethora of talent the Americans have, as multiple players were almost in double figures. The Americans took turns attacking one of the best big men in the world. Whereas Jokic sadly had to fend off the likes of Joel Embiid, Anthony Davis, and Bam Adebayo throughout his time on the court.

They will meet again in Paris as both are part of the same group. Nikola Jokic and his teammates will be better prepared to take on the Americans. But even then, the improved cohesion this game showed could end up winning them the gold.
