“He’s a grown man!” – LeBron James redirects reporter’s question to son, Bronny
LeBron James refuses to answer questions directed at him about his eldest son and LA Lakers teammate, Bronny James.
LeBron James refuses to answer media questions about his son, Bronny
This coming NBA season will see LeBron and Bronny James make NBA history as the first father-son duo to play together on the same team in the NBA. During a recent press briefing, King James made it clear that his 20-year-old son is capable of speaking for himself when it comes to his NBA adjustment.
During the media session, LeBron James deflected a question about Bronny’s transition to the league, as he urged the reporters present to ask Bronny directly. An obvious sign that he likely wanted to avoid constant questions about his son throughout the season and instead wants it to be about the Los Angeles Lakers’ overall performance.

The preseason had seen its fair share of history as both father and son had played together and it gets more interesting with their anticipated regular season debut set for October 22 against the Minnesota Timberwolves. A moment the four-time NBA champion has been dreaming about for a while now.
However, things haven’t been so rosy for Bronny James, as he has struggled statistically during the preseason where he has averaged 0.7 points, one rebound, and 0.3 assists in limited minutes over three games. And as a second-round draft pick, it’s expected that he will spend time developing in the G League before he receives consistent playing time in the NBA.
LeBron James responds to the possibility of playing with Stephen Curry
While he refused to talk about his son and teammate, LeBron James was quizzed by the media where he had to reflect on his experience playing alongside Stephen Curry for Team USA at the Paris Olympics. He was also asked about his thoughts about a future where they both played for the same NBA team.

While both future Hall of Famers have a history of rivalry, they’ve developed a bond that was on full display when they both teamed up to bring home gold at the just concluded Olympics. Fans love the idea of both legends playing together, and it could have happened had it not been for King James’ agent, Rich Paul.
Furthermore, as the 2024-25 NBA season approaches, James and Curry will return to their usual roles as competitors, where they will once again battle for dominance in the highly competitive Western Conference.
