LeBron James reveals ‘downing’ 7 bottles with Draymond Green and friends ahead of new season

Draymond Green and LeBron James

NBA stars and rivals Draymond Green and LeBron James becoming close friends wasn’t on the cards for this year. Not many would have predicted for the two arch-rivals to become so close over the years. So much so that, the duo was spotted partying together in Paris after James’ Olympic Gold medal win with Team USA.

Most recently, James and Green once again partied together as the Los Angeles Lakers great took to Instagram to show off ‘downing’ 7 bottles. James posted an Instagram story tagging Draymond Green with the caption, “Was one of those nights! @moneygreen23”

Green has become close to James since joining Klutch Sports, a James-affiliated management organization headed by agent Rich Paul. It’s important to note that Paul too was present in these celebrations along with James and Green.

As the two players recover from radically contrasting seasons, both aim for a better 2024-25 season. Despite being 39 years old, James remains one of the NBA’s top ten players. He is coming off a season in which he averaged 25.7 points, 7.3 rebounds, 8.3 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, while shooting 54.0% from the field and 41.0% from three in 71 games with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Meanwhile, Green has completed his 12th year in the NBA (all while playing for the Golden State Warriors). In 55 games, he averaged 8.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, 6.0 assists, and 1.0 steals, shooting 49.7% from the field and 39.5% from three-point range last season. It remains to be seen how the two stars perform for their respective sides in the upcoming 2024-25 NBA season.

LeBron James and Draymond Green also partied in France after James’ Paris Olympics win

LeBron James appears to be enjoying life after winning his third gold medal for his country at the 2024 Paris Olympics. King James was chosen as the Olympic MVP for this competition, resulting in a successful campaign. However, LeBron wasn’t quick to go back to America. He was seen celebrating in France alongside his friend and NBA rival, Draymond Green.

The Golden State Warriors ace accompanied him in Cannes, where they were partying hard on the beach. James was seen in France hanging out at La Guerite beach club, where he went on to celebrate his gold medal win.

Throughout the Olympics, James averaged 14.2 points per game, shooting 66% from the field and 30.8% from three points. James was one of his country’s key performers at the Paris Olympics, alongside Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry.
